Applications for Assiniboine Credit Union’s Indigenous Student Bursaries for students studying in business-related programs in the 2023-24 school year in Manitoba will be accepted from September 30, 2022 to January 31, 2023.

We're committed to the 92nd Call to Action, ensuring that Indigenous peoples have equitable access to jobs, training, and educational opportunities in the corporate sector. Every year, ACU awards four bursaries of $2,000 to students of Indigenous Ancestry who are enrolled in a post-secondary business program or are already studying in a business program at a post-secondary institution in Manitoba.
 

When can I apply for a bursary?

Applications are accepted every year, from September to January 31st. Applications submitted outside of this window will not be considered.
 

Who can apply?

We invite students who meet the following criteria to apply:

• Indigenous ancestry
• Enrolled in a post-secondary business program in Manitoba
• Taking a minimum of three courses
• Good academic performance
• Demonstrated financial need
• Involved in the community
   

When are successful applicants notified?

Bursaries are awarded every spring.
