Position Summary:

Under the General Guidance of the Implementation Committee and Supervisory Authority of the Director of Detour Mine Relations, the Business Coordinator will oversee in general the implementation of Chapter Three of the Moose Cree First Nation and Detour Gold Agreement and other related duties as determined by the needs of the department.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  1. Post-Secondary education in Business Administration.
  2. 5 years’ work experience in management of the related field.
  3. Excellent knowledge of various funding Government Ministries.
  4. Good understanding of the Detour Gold Mine and the MCFN agreement.
  5. Good knowledge of the Moose Cree Homelands and its culture.
  6. Good computer knowledge of Word, Excel PowerPoint, etc.
  7. Strong written and oral communication skills.
  8. Fluency in the Moose Cree dialect is a definite asset.
  9. Willingness to travel frequently.
  10. Must have a valid class G driver’s license.

Salary: As per salary grid

Duration: Permanent with 3 months probation
