Join the Bimose Tribal Council as an IT Systems Service Technician and play a key role in maintaining and implementing information technology systems for the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, implement, and maintain information technology systems for the ASA program initiative and Bimose Tribal Council
- Maintain network operations, monitor and document network environment for performance health
- Manage computer desktop environment, including planning and implementing roll out projects, and installing hardware and software solutions
- Design, develop, and install network solutions to meet requirements
- Provide Helpdesk support to staff, including Admin and Cloud design
- Obtain technical equipment based on required specifications
- Administer and support Windows Server environment
- Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate issues affecting Windows, Linux, Office 365, Google Workspace, and related products
- Create, maintain, and update all infrastructure components
- Perform infrastructure capacity planning
- Participate in the out-of-hours support process to deal with high priority incidents occurring outside of normal business hours
- Update and maintain incident/problem/change control tickets in line with defined processes and procedures
- Maintain awareness of dependencies of all infrastructure components
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Information Technology or equivalent/work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of security products including firewalls, IDS/IPS, virus/malware protection, internet filtering, encryption desirable
- Ability to operate computers with a wide variety of software applications
- Valid Class G Driver's License and ability to travel
- Industry standards certification(s)
